NGO Source Certificate

If you’ve been browsing our website, you’ve noticed that there are new features every day. This week we celebrated receiving an important certification: we are now recognized as a non-governmental organization by NGO Source.

We are now an organization equivalent to a Certified Public Charity. An ED certificate is at the bottom of our page and with it we formally equated to a public charity in the United States (US). It is a government instrument for a specific funder for a specific period of time, in our case until December 2023.

Before collaborating with a project, the US donor assesses whether an intended foreign organization, in this case us at Amazonia 4.0, is equivalent to a US public charity. The donor collects a set of detailed information about operations and finances, generating more security and transparency in this process.
