Amazonia 4.0 conducts visits to implement ACLs
This week the details of the implementation plan were discussed with the communities of Moju Miri and Acará Açu in Pará.
In order to align the preparation efforts and the implementation schedule for the Amazon Creative Labs (ACLs), the Amazonia 4.0 Institute, through its Executive Director, Ismael Nobre, visited the communities of Moju Miri and Acará Açu, located in the state of Pará.
The two communities will receive the training tool (ACLs), with the aim of encouraging local entrepreneurship and training the communities with 4.0 technologies in the cocoa and cupuaçu production chains, raw materials for which the communities develop a small-scale production axis and, in this way, can become potential producers of local products with high added value.
In the community of Moju Miri, Nobre met with the community’s cocoa producer “Mr. Neves” and other local leaders to discuss the first actions to implement the LCA.

“This visit is a decisive stage in the implementation of the LCA, which should properly begin in January. This is the phase to align point by point with the communities the details of the installation of the geodesic domes, equipment, and especially the training. Training is our first major step,” highlights Ismael Nobre.
In Acará Açu, a riverine community, Ismael Nobre visited the “Guardiãs do Cacau” women’s group, which produces handmade chocolates and other cocoa-derived products. He also met with the president of the Association of Residents and Farmers Padre Alberto Pirabon de Acará-Açu, Izabela da Cunha Campos, for final discussions on the implementation of the ACL in the community.
