Amazônia 4.0 Institute participates in the Amazon Summit in Belém
Ismael Nobre spoke about “Entrepreneurship and Innovation while Keeping the Forest Standing”.
Promoted by Sebrae’s Inova Amazônia program, the Amazon Summit is one of the main innovation events focused on the bioeconomy in the country. With the aim of boosting the innovation ecosystem, the event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, communities and other players who wish to contribute to the debate on business development linked to the bioeconomy.
Ismael Nobre, Executive Director of Amazônia 4.0, took part in the 2022 edition of the event with a panel on Bioeconomy and Innovation in the Amazon. With a focus on bioeconomy and innovations coming from the forest and local communities, highlighting the potential and wealth generated in keeping the forest intact.

Beyond the event, Inova Amazônia is a program that aims to foster businesses in the Amazon region’s bioeconomy, and many of the businesses accelerated by Inova were present at the Amazônia Summit.
