Lauro Barata

Industrial Chemist from the Federal University of Pará, holds a master’s degree in Chemistry of Natural Products from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a doctorate in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas, and a post-doctorate at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique – CNRS, Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles. He is a visiting professor at the University of London, School of Pharmacy. He was an advisor for National and International Relations at the Federal University of Western Pará, an associate researcher at the Thomson Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry at UNICAMP, and an associate researcher at the Chromatography Laboratory of IQ-UNICAMP. He has experience in the field of Chemistry, with an emphasis on Organic Chemistry and Phytochemistry, essential oils, and extracts of aromatic and medicinal plants applied to Medicines and Cosmetics. He is the Director of Amazon Natural Products Consultancy.
